On Qatar's own calculator a return Classic Award costs exactly twice the one-way (no return discount), and all four tiers see the same Avios price. When Classic seats are gone, a Flexi Award books the same flight for double the Classic Avios (Qatar metal only, not upgradeable). Prices also move with the date: one route rose 20% at peak (22,500 to 27,000 Avios economy in late December) and fell back in January - price your actual date.

How the price is worked out
Off-peak dates: 55,000 Avios to London, Paris or Frankfurt. From mid-December the same seat is 66,000 (peak, +20%). Award space is the constraint - book the moment seats open.
Qatar's Avios calculator, read 23 Sep 2026, one way via Doha: DEL-LHR, DEL-CDG, DEL-FRA and BOM-LHR all price Economy 27,500 / Business 55,000 on an off-peak date (25 Sep 2026); dates from about 15 Dec 2026 price 20% higher (Economy 33,000 / Business 66,000, checked for 24 Dec). The calculator does not say whether the aircraft has QSuites.
